“I was never Epstein’s victim,” she stated. “He had nothing to do with how I met my husband. I met Donald by chance at a New York party in 1998.”
Melania emphasized that she never had any personal relationship with Epstein and rejected suggestions that he played any role in her life.
She and Donald Trump first met in New York in 1998 and later married in 2005.
The statement caught many off guard, as there have been no recent developments directly linking her to Epstein, who died in custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
